Perm Teachers Strengthen Collaboration with Colleagues from Minsk

A delegation of Perm schools and kindergartens visited educational institutions in the Belarusian capital. The Perm Center for Education Development signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Minsk Institute for Education Development.

According to the city's Department of Education, the delegation from Perm paid a working visit to Minsk. The group included 25 school and kindergarten directors and specialists from the Perm Department of Education. The main goal of the trip was to develop partnerships between the two cities in the field of education.

A roundtable discussion was held at the Minsk Institute for Education Development, during which the Perm and Minsk education systems were presented, strategic directions for education development, options for collaboration, and the creation of modern educational conditions were discussed. During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and collaboration was signed between MGIRO and the Perm Center for Education Development. This document lays the foundation for joint projects and the exchange of best practices between educational institutions in the two cities.

Furthermore, the delegates visited several educational institutions in Minsk, where they were able to learn about local approaches to education, career guidance, and working with young professionals. Particular attention was paid to modern educational formats: Perm specialists studied the work of the Youth Technical Creativity Center and the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Safety Education Center, which employ cutting-edge methods.

During their visit to the Belarusian capital, Perm educators visited the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War to commemorate their shared historical past.
